Following the completion of their military service, BTS is preparing for a highly anticipated comeback. The group, having reunited in June, spent several months in Los Angeles working on new music with acclaimed composers and producers. Their new album is slated for release in the spring of 2026, to be followed by a world tour.
The 2026 world tour is expected to run from May to December, featuring approximately 65 performances. The tour is projected to draw around 4 million fans, with each show attracting an estimated 60,000 attendees.
Prior to the tour, BTS will host a two-week global event from September 24 to October 5, showcasing four concert films in 2,500 theaters across 65 countries. In addition, fans can visit pop-up stores in various cities to celebrate the comeback.
Meanwhile, J-Hope’s solo concert movie, ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ THE MOVIE,’ is set to be released in IMAX and theaters worldwide on November 12 and 15 via Trafalgar Releasing. The film captures his two-day encore concerts at Goyang Stadium in South Korea in June, marking the end of his first solo world tour.
The movie includes popular tracks from J-Hope’s solo career, such as his first mixtape ‘Hope World,’ solo album ‘Jack In The Box,’ and special album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1,’ alongside hits like “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” “MONA LISA,” and “Killin’ It Girl (Solo Version).” Special versions of BTS hits like “MIC Drop,” “Silver Spoon,” and “Dis-ease” are also featured, as well as behind-the-scenes footage and appearances by BTS members Jin and Jungkook, and South Korean singer Crush. Currently, BTS is in South Korea, finalizing the album and planning promotional activities. Some members are also attending international events, including Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks.
