Controversy Brews Over Diljit Dosanjh's 'Sardaar Ji 3': Calls for Ban Intensify

The upcoming Punjabi film 'Sardaar Ji 3,' starring Diljit Dosanjh, is facing a growing chorus of opposition, with the BJP Chitrapat Kamgar Aghaadi demanding a nationwide ban on its release. The primary concern stems from the reported inclusion of Pakistani actors in the film's cast. The film features Hania Aamir, Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar, and Saleem Albela, all hailing from Pakistan. The BJP Chitrapat Kamgar Union, representing Indian film industry workers and technicians, has officially requested the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to deny certification and prevent the film's theatrical release across India. This stance reflects heightened tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025 and earlier bans on films featuring Pakistani actors.
