In a dramatic turn, the Bollywood film 'Shri Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj' has been greenlit by the censor board just hours after producers knocked on the doors of the Bombay High Court. The movie, centered on the life of the iconic saint Neem Karoli Baba and led by Subodh Bhave, was stuck in certification limbo despite a priority application. Originally slated for April 24, the release was derailed by repeated delays from CBFC. Producers claim they followed all protocols under the expedited 'tatkal' process, yet officials dragged their feet. The high court petition created chaos at the board's office, prompting swift certification. 'It's the power of justice at play,' remarked director Sharad Singh Thakur. 'Their hesitation vanished the moment they learned of our legal move.' This incident sheds light on procedural inefficiencies plaguing the film industry. Joining Bhave are seasoned actors like Hiten Tejwani, Samiksha Bhatnagar, Hemant Pandey, and Anirudh Dave. Backed by producers Balram Garg, Balvir Singh, Sharad Singh Thakur, Khadak Singh Gaur, and Neelam Singh, the film comes from Anisha Films International, with support from PC Jewellers and BSR Film Productions. As the film gears up for release, it promises to bring the saint's teachings of love and devotion to a wider audience, potentially inspiring a new generation amid India's spiritual cinema renaissance.
