Darshana Revealed in John Doe Starring Arjun Das

Mumbai, October 25

Fans are eagerly anticipating John Doe, a psychological thriller directed by Madhumita. Now, the filmmakers have revealed the role Srishti will play in the movie, which features Arjun Das in the lead.

Srishti is cast as Darshana. Arka Media Works, the film's producer, shared information about the character on social media.

The post from the makers read, "Darshana has lost so much in her life, yet she remains a pillar of strength for her family. But when silence settles over the home, she wonders if she is enough for herself. Meet Darshana from the world of John Doe."

Arjun Das plays a character called Chandru. He recently shared the film's first look poster, captioned "Naan Podhuma? (Am I enough?)" This question torments Chandru, and the actor said most people have probably asked it of themselves at some point. During his preparation for the part, he found echoes of Chandru within himself.

Sanchana Natarajan appears as the female lead. Jara Vineet Chandoke and Neerav are also part of the cast in important roles.

A significant part of the film's appeal is that Arjun Das takes on the role of a police officer for the first time in his career.

Arka Media Works has previously produced the blockbuster Baahubali. For John Doe, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are producers, Kishore Kedari and Madhumita are co-producers, and Soumya Sharma serves as creative producer. The soundtrack has been created by noted music director Mujeeb Majeed.

The action sequences are choreographed by Dinesh Subbarayan and Santhosh. Priya Karan and Priya Hari designed the costumes, and Ashwini Kale oversaw production design.

Reports indicate that John Doe is nearly complete, and the makers are gearing up for a November release this year.
