The Indian film industry is in deep mourning following the passing of its iconic “He-Man,” Dharmendra, at the age of 89. Dharmendra, a towering figure in Hindi cinema for over six decades, breathed his last on November 24, 2025, after a prolonged illness. His illustrious career boasted over 300 films, cementing his status as one of Bollywood’s most charismatic and influential actors.
Beyond his cinematic achievements, Dharmendra was also a shrewd businessman, amassing an impressive estate estimated to be worth between Rs 335 crore and Rs 450 crore. This substantial wealth underscores a remarkable multi-faceted legacy that extends far beyond the silver screen.
Dharmendra is survived by his wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and his six devoted children: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta, Ajeeta, Esha Deol, and Ahana Deol. He was also a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren, maintaining close bonds with his entire family until his final moments.
His final on-screen appearance was in the 2024 film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ portraying Shahid Kapoor’s grandfather. Fans eagerly anticipate his upcoming film, ‘Ikkis,’ directed by Sriram Raghavan, which promises one last chance to experience his captivating screen presence.

His sprawling 100-acre Lonavala farmhouse, a sanctuary of gardens and equestrian pursuits, was a cherished asset, with discussions reportedly underway for its development into a luxury resort. He also owned multiple properties across Maharashtra and a collection of cherished automobiles, from luxury models to a vintage Fiat.
Dharmendra’s journey, from earning a modest Rs 51 for his debut to building a multi-crore empire, serves as an inspiration.
