Dosanjh has recorded a song for the soundtrack and expressed his excitement on social media, referring to Shetty as his “big brother” and praising the original Kantara film. In a video shared online, Dosanjh is seen in the recording studio, enthusiastically working on the song. He mentioned his personal connection to the film and recalled being deeply moved by the song “Varaha Roopam” in the theater. Kantara: Chapter 1 is slated for release on October 2, 2025. Rishab Shetty also shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his excitement about the collaboration, and describing Dosanjh as another ‘Shiva bhakt’ joining the Kantara project. Fans have expressed their anticipation for the collaboration, with many calling it a ‘North-South legends meet.’ Kantara: Chapter 1 is a prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara. Directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, it is a period drama set during the Kadamba dynasty.
