The upcoming ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ will see filmmaker Farah Khan take over hosting duties from Salman Khan, who has other commitments. Farah will address several controversies and conflicts among the contestants. She directly confronted some contestants for their problematic remarks.
During a discussion with Baseer Ali, Farah Khan criticized his previous comments about the other contestants, where he expressed that they were not on his level. In response, Farah asked him, “What kind of contestant do you want on the show? Should we send Deepika Padukone or Alia Bhatt for you?” She also called out Nehal for seemingly agreeing with Baseer’s statements.
Farah Khan also targeted Kunickaa for her offensive comments regarding Tanya Mittal’s upbringing, and labeled her as a control freak. Kunickaa’s remarks stemmed from a task, where Kunickaa commented on Tanya’s background, particularly her mother’s influence. This caused Tanya to become emotional and break down. Tanya shared, “My mother is my god, I have fought very hard to come here. My father used to beat me, and my mother would save me. I had a lot of difficulty getting permission to do business, I was 19 years old and I was going to get married, I went to die, I fought a lot.”
Zeishan, despite disagreements with Tanya, supported her. He said, “Ayaan, look at your mother first, brother, who comes and cries on stage, you see, you get votes from Gwalior or get it from your dung, this is the truth of your mother.” This was a direct dig at Kunickaa after her son was seen getting emotional during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
Other contestants also expressed their support for Tanya and anger at Kunickaa’s comments.
‘Bigg Boss 19’ is also generating buzz around the new wild card contestants. Actress Shikhaa Malhotra and singer Tia Kar are expected to enter the show. Shikhaa, who is an actress, singer, performer, and nursing officer, appears to have confirmed her participation as a wild card through social media posts. Tia Kar, a singer-songwriter, previously participated in Indian Idol and Asian Waves.
