Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly was targeted in a shooting incident early Friday morning. The attack, which involved unidentified assailants, has caused significant concern. Reports indicate that approximately 10-12 rounds were fired at Patani’s home around 4:30 AM. The incident has left the family shaken. Responsibility for the shooting has been claimed by the gangs of Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar, who asserted their involvement through a social media post.
This is not an isolated incident. Similar attacks have occurred at the residences of Salman Khan and Elvish Yadav. Several other celebrities have also been targeted in such incidents.
Salman Khan: A shooting at superstar Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments on April 14, 2024, remains a stark reminder of the dangers faced by celebrities. The attack involved gunfire at his home’s balcony. The gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the shooting. Authorities apprehended a suspect involved in the shooting, and Khan was subsequently provided with increased security.
Elvish Yadav: YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s residence in Gurugram was also targeted in a shooting on August 17. While Yadav was not at home during the incident, three individuals on a motorcycle fired approximately 12 rounds, according to police. His father, however, reported that 24-25 shots were fired.
Kapil Sharma: Comedian Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Canada was also targeted. The cafe, which he and his wife had recently opened, was attacked with multiple rounds of gunfire. The incident occurred on July 10, and a second attack followed shortly after.
AP Dhillon: Popular Punjabi singer AP Dhillon’s Canadian residence was also targeted in a shooting last September. Rohit Godara of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility, linking the attack to Dhillon’s association with Salman Khan. This incident also caused a stir in the industry.
