In today’s digital age, where news about celebrities spreads rapidly through social media, many Bollywood stars actively engage with their fans online. However, some prominent figures in the industry have chosen to remain distant from platforms like Instagram and Twitter. This article highlights six such stars who have opted out of the social media frenzy. Ranbir Kapoor, known for his exceptional acting skills, boasts a massive fan following. Yet, he maintains no social media presence. In contrast, his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, has a substantial following of over 8.7 crore people on Instagram. Aamir Khan, celebrated as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ in Bollywood, also refrains from using social media. While his production house, ‘Aamir Khan Productions,’ has an Instagram handle, Aamir himself does not. Saif Ali Khan, despite his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan’s active presence on Instagram with a large following, and frequent posts about her and Saif, remains off social media as well. Rani Mukerji, with a career spanning 29 years in Bollywood, has captivated audiences with her remarkable performances. She, too, does not use social media. She is set to appear in the film ‘Mardaani 3,’ slated for release in 2026. Rekha, the timeless actress of Hindi cinema, is another notable personality absent from social media. Jaya Bachchan, an actress and also a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party, does not have any social media accounts, despite her family members, including her son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, and husband Amitabh Bachchan, being quite popular on social media.
