The conflict among contestants in Bigg Boss 19 has spilled over. Television actress Hina Khan has entered the fray, weighing in on the ‘TV vs. Film’ debate. The controversy arose after Bigg Boss 19 contestant Farhana Bhatt allegedly belittled TV actors in comparison to film actors. This prompted a strong reaction from Hina Khan.
Enraged by Bhatt’s remarks, Hina Khan took to social media to criticize her, using strong language. While the post was later deleted, screenshots of her comments quickly spread online.
In her initial post, Hina Khan directly addressed Farhana, writing, “We appreciate good and memorable work in any medium, and we respect all mediums equally. Saying you’re a film actor to appear superior… a good artist would never do this. Empty words only create noise. Only noise.” She added the hashtag #AngurKhatteHain.
In a second post, Hina Khan’s anger was evident. She wrote, “Did the biggest reality show on television ever get telecasted or premiered in an IMAX? I think it comes on TV, doesn’t it? Our TV’s heart is so big that any greedy person can become a star, thanks to the Almighty. Don’t make me say anything more.” Her reference was clearly aimed at Farhana, who appeared to have attempted to diminish Ashnoor Kaur and Abhishek Bajaj by labeling them as TV actors.
While Hina Khan deleted her posts, she received considerable support on social media. Many users praised her stance. One follower wrote, ‘Hina is absolutely right.’ Some users also noted that Hina’s reaction was because she is a close friend of Abhishek, a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, and was responding to perceived negativity towards him.
