Initial reports indicate that ‘Homebound’ collected only Rs 29 lakh on its first day. The film has achieved a significant milestone by becoming India’s official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 98th Academy Awards. The film was also screened at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, and the Melbourne International Film Festival. The film has received support from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese, who served as an executive producer.
