Mumbai, May 27: While many actors memorise lines, Gulshan Devaiah studies entire worlds. His co-stars joke that he arrives on set armed with backstories, historical references, and even costume logic that the writers themselves may have missed. This reputation as a “walking encyclopedia” has become both compliment and career strategy. Raised in Bengaluru, Devaiah initially trained as a fashion designer.
