Mohanlal’s latest romantic comedy-drama, Hridayapoorvam, has achieved significant success in theaters, becoming one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the year. The film is now preparing for its OTT debut. It will be available on Jio Hotstar starting September 26, 2025. The film will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. The movie’s plot revolves around Sandeep Balakrishnan (Mohanlal), a wealthy but often irritable businessman running a cloud-kitchen chain. Even after undergoing a heart transplant, he maintains a cynical view. The narrative gains momentum when Sandeep travels to Pune for the engagement of Haritha, whose father’s heart now beats within him. Haritha’s desire to have Sandeep at the engagement to feel her father’s presence results in both humorous and touching moments. The cast includes Mohanlal, Malavika Mohanan, Sangita Madhavan Nair, and Sangeeth Prathap, alongside Siddique, Lalu Alex, Janardhanan, Sabitha Anand, Baburaj, Nishan, and S. P. Charan in supporting roles. Hridayapoorvam, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, with a screenplay by Sonu T. P. and story by Akhil Sathyan, was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas.
