Bhajan Evening, Film Team and Kanpur Hindu Fair Highlights

A five-day Hindu spiritual and service fair is scheduled to be held in Kanpur from November 26 to 30, 2026. The programme is aimed at broad dissemination of Indian culture, Sanatan traditions, spiritual awareness, service, and values.

The fair will be organised at Brijendra Swaroop Park in Benajhabar. Over five days, it will feature religious rituals, cultural performances, spiritual dialogue, social awareness initiatives, and service-related programmes. The aim is to link different sections of society with Indian culture and the tradition of service.

Daily events will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Cultural activities organised with the participation of schools and social institutions, vandan programmes, spiritual gatherings, and an exhibition of service work will be the major attractions. Organisers say the fair seeks to encourage family values, social harmony, national feeling, and awareness about service.

The cultural lineup includes a special presentation by well-known bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal. His bhajan evening will start at 8:30 p.m. on November 27, giving devotees a chance to take part in a devotional atmosphere. The inauguration ceremony, school cultural programmes, and other religious events are also scheduled for the same day.

On November 28, the team of the film 'Hanuman Ansh' will be present at the fair. The artists' participation will give the programme special visibility. As per the schedule, Acharya vandan, an Adhyatm Jagran ceremony, and a Hindu Conclave will be held that day alongside several cultural and spiritual activities.

The third major cultural attraction will be on the night of November 29, when the acclaimed nationalist poet and singer Anamika Jain Amber and the team of Ananya Singh will perform. Combining poetry, music, and cultural expression, the event is expected to be a special draw for visitors. Matru-Pitru vandan, a large Hindu sammelan, and the Stotra Sarita event are also proposed for the same day.

The fair will conclude on November 30 with Paramvir vandan and a karyakarta felicitation ceremony, bringing the five-day event to a close. Participation from people of all age groups, students, families, and social organisations is being encouraged throughout.

Several events have been planned ahead of the main fair. On October 27, collective Vande Mataram singing will be held in schools, colleges, and various institutions, and Paramvir vandan will be organised in schools. Swami Vivekananda Rath Yatras will begin on November 15. Tulsi vandan in families and go-vandan in gaushalas on Gopashtami are also part of the pre-event activities.

The fair is being organised under the aegis of the Hindu Adhyatmik Evam Seva Sansthan, Kanpur. Its focus will be on showcasing the work of service-oriented organisations, raising awareness about Indian traditions, and engaging society in spiritual and cultural programmes. Saints, scholars, social workers, and representatives of various organisations are also expected to participate.

Residents of Kanpur will get the opportunity to take part in spiritual, religious, cultural, and service-based programmes over five days.
