Excluding blocked seats, the gross collection is ₹26.97 lakh, with 5,188 tickets sold for the first day across 1,597 shows. The current promotion is not generating expected numbers which means a big loss is possible.
On the other hand, Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ being a pan-Indian film, is expected to have a higher collection. Advance bookings reflect this trend, with the film earning ₹4.77 crore from advance bookings for the first day and a total of ₹8.11 crore including blocked seats. A total of 1,31,470 tickets have been sold. The Kannada film industry is providing the strongest response. Currently, 10,000 tickets have been sold in Hindi, generating a business of ₹28 lakh.
