With the release of “Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1” just around the corner, anticipation is building. Following the success of the first film, Indian audiences are eagerly awaiting the prequel. Two major updates have emerged regarding Rishab Shetty’s film. First, the film has been cleared by the censor board, and advance bookings for the Hindi version have commenced.
The film, crafted by the talented Rishab Shetty, is now ready for theatrical release, with all final details finalized. Fans are thrilled that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the film with minimal alterations. According to reports, no cuts were made to any action or violence scenes, nor were any dialogues muted or changed.
However, a small adjustment was made. An objectionable hand gesture shown at the 45th minute was removed. Additionally, wherever drug use is depicted, a mandatory anti-drug warning ticker has been added. After these changes, the film received a U/A 16+ certificate on September 22nd. The final runtime of the film is 2 hours, 48 minutes, and 53 seconds.
Advance bookings have already begun in Karnataka, with shows starting from 6:30 AM on October 2nd. Now, it’s the Hindi audience’s turn. Reports indicate that advance bookings in the Hindi market have started from the evening of September 26th. Fans can now book their seats and enjoy this grand film on the big screen. Once the figures are available, the extent of the film’s popularity in the Hindi belt will be clear.
As soon as the bookings for “Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1” began, fans’ excitement grew as they anticipated a major clash at the box office. The film will compete with Varun Dhawan’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The real game will begin as the theaters decide which film gets how many shows and screens.
