Rishab Shetty’s critically acclaimed film, ‘Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1,’ continues its triumphant run at the box office, captivating audiences and earning a staggering Rs 670 crore globally. Following its successful theatrical debut on October 2 across multiple languages including Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, fans are now eagerly anticipating its digital release. Early reports suggest that the highly awaited film will make its debut on Amazon Prime Video towards the end of October 2025. While an official announcement is still pending, industry insiders indicate that the digital rights were secured for a substantial sum. The anticipated OTT launch is reportedly set for around October 30, 2025, approximately four weeks after its initial cinema release. However, audiences in the Hindi-speaking regions may experience a slight delay, with a Hindi version expected around eight weeks post-theatrical release. This strategic staggered release mirrors patterns seen with other major film launches, potentially allowing for maximum theatrical run and anticipation before the film becomes available for home viewing.
