The clash between ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ has generated significant audience interest this week. Both films, representing different genres, feature talented casts. ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ stars Rishab Shetty in the lead role, who also directed the film, while ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ features Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ collected Rs 61.5 crore on its fourth day, with Rs 23.5 crore coming from the Hindi belt. The film’s total collection within four days amounts to Rs 223.75 crore.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ earned Rs 7.75 crore on day 4, bringing its total collection to Rs 30 crore. The film faces strong competition from ‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ which has dominated the Hindi belt.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment present. It also stars Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra. This marks Varun and Janhvi’s second collaboration.
Rishab Shetty plays Berme in the prequel of ‘Kantara,’ alongside Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi and Gulshan Devaiah as Kulashekara. The film’s visuals are crafted by cinematographer Arvind S. Kashyap, complemented by the music of B. Ajaneesh Loknath. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
