Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon and Dhanush, currently promoting their film ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, made a spiritual stop at Pune’s renowned Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple on Sunday. They were joined by director Aanand L Rai for the auspicious visit.
The popular trio was seen offering prayers and participating in the aarti ceremony, seeking blessings for their recently released movie. ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ has been making waves at the box office since its debut in theaters on November 28.
The film has demonstrated remarkable box office performance, building on a strong opening. Trade reports indicate a consistent upward trend, with Saturday showing a significant growth of over 10%. This positive momentum suggests a robust opening weekend, potentially reaching an estimated ₹50 crore.
‘Tere Ishk Mein’ explores a passionate yet tumultuous love story between Kriti’s character, Mukti, and Dhanush’s intense portrayal of Shankar. The narrative delves into themes of love, heartbreak, and revenge, as Shankar’s character embarks on a vengeful path after their relationship faces insurmountable obstacles. The film, a collaborative production by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions, is a testament to the combined efforts of its producers.
