Legal Trouble Grows for Salman Khan Over ‘Being Human’ Jewellery Venture

Salman Khan’s charitable brand, Being Human Foundation, is now entangled in a legal dispute after a Chandigarh court issued a notice to the actor, his sister Alvira, and two directors of Style Koscent Jewellery Private Limited. The notice stems from a fraud allegation tied to a proposed jewellery showroom in Manimajra.

Arun Gupta, the complainant, alleges that the "Being Human Jewellery" project was used to mislead customers and siphon funds. The case, filed under COMI/9/2023, requires the respondents to appear before the court on 5 October 2026 at 10 a.m.

The court’s notice references Section 223 of the Bombay Negotiable Instruments Act, indicating that the matter is still in its preliminary investigative phase. No judgment has been rendered, and the parties are only required to present their side of the story at the upcoming hearing.

If the court finds merit in the complaint, the case could lead to further legal action against Salman Khan and the associated entities, potentially affecting the reputation of the Being Human charitable initiatives.
