Malayalam actress Rini Ann George has accused a young political leader in Kerala of sending her offensive and inappropriate messages. She stated she informed the party leadership about the incident, but no action was taken. Rini has chosen not to publicly name the politician.
Speaking to the media, Rini described receiving inappropriate messages from the politician, including an invitation to a specific location. When she confronted him, he allegedly dismissed her concerns. Rini mentioned the individual is often seen in channel discussions and at protest venues. Detailing the nature of the messages, Rini recounted one instance where the politician suggested booking a room in a five-star hotel. She reacted strongly to this, and the messages stopped for a period, but later resumed. She explained that her decision to speak out was prompted by her awareness of similar experiences among other women.
She also revealed that the reason she didn’t file a formal complaint was due to the potential danger it could pose to her safety. She urged women to make informed choices when electing public representatives.
