Mihir Ahuja Says Dilwaali Diwali Offers Fresh Artistic Range
Mihir Ahuja is gearing up for his Netflix film Dilwaali Diwali, a project that he says has given him room to present himself in a fresh way as an artist. The film revolves around family, relationships and the emotions that come with festive seasons.
Speaking about his new project, Mihir said that he has always enjoyed taking on roles that differ from his past work. After being part of a serious project like Operation Safed Sagar, he found Dilwaali Diwali to be an opportunity to step into a world of emotions he had not explored in the same way before.
Dilwaali Diwali has been produced by Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT). Veteran actors Manoj Pahwa and Neelu Kohli also appear in the film with Mihir.
According to Mihir, stories built around family, relationships and festivals are easy for audiences to connect with. Viewers often see their own lives and the people around them reflected in such tales. He said the most rewarding part of his role was understanding its small details and revealing a side of his personality that audiences have never seen before.
Mihir also said that every new character offers a chance to grow. While trying to understand the person he plays, he learns something about himself as well. He hopes viewers will feel connected to the emotions and situations in the film, as well as the twists in its storyline that he believes will make it engaging.
He said he hopes audiences will appreciate his work in this new style and relate to his character.
