Teja Sajja’s latest film, ‘Mirai,’ has captivated audiences, proving its strength at the box office despite facing competition from other releases. The action-adventure movie centers on a warrior tasked with safeguarding nine sacred scriptures, which hold the power to transform mortals into deities.
‘Mirai’ has collected an estimated Rs 16.50 crore on its third day, according to Sacnilk. The film’s total earnings have reached Rs 44.50 crore.
Following the success of ‘HanuMan,’ Teja was approached by director Karthik Ghattamaneni for ‘Mirai.’ Teja recounted the director’s initial skepticism, pointing out the challenges of the project to gauge his commitment. Teja’s unwavering response solidified the film’s production.
A sequel, titled ‘Mirai: Jaithraya,’ is planned. The mid-credit scene introduces Rana Daggubati as a villain, hinting at his role as an antagonist in the next installment. Rana’s character appears to possess superpowers, with details deliberately kept under wraps.
‘Mirai’ features Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran in prominent roles, with Manchu Manoj playing the primary antagonist.
