Mohanlal’s “Operation Ganga” Starts Filming in Georgia, Ramphal Excited

The much‑anticipated thriller “Operation Ganga”, starring Malayalam legend Mohanlal, has begun principal photography in Georgia. Bollywood actor Arjun Ramphal, who joins the project in a pivotal role, shared his excitement ahead of the first day of shooting.

Ramphal revealed that he arrived in Tbilisi a day before the cameras roll and described the screenplay as “wildly fun” and “full of twists”. He expressed admiration for the city’s clean, historic streets and said the setting would add depth to the movie’s survival‑thriller vibe.

The film is directed by Vishnu Mohan, the National Award‑winning filmmaker recognized for the blockbuster “Mepadiyan”. Alongside Mohanlal and Ramphal, the cast features Bhagya Shri Borse, Parthiban and Adil Hussain. Action sequences will be choreographed by C. Young Oh, whose previous work includes “Dhoom 3” and “Kill”, while Shaashwat Sachdev will provide the soundtrack.

Production is being carried out under the banner of Shree Gokulam Movies, marking one of the most ambitious projects in Mohanlal’s career.
