MTV Hustle’s fifth season arrives with a headline‑grabbing prize: the winning contestant will walk away with a full crore rupees. The decision, announced by judge Badshah, underlines a broader shift—hip‑hop is no longer a fringe movement but a lucrative, mainstream force in India.

The show continues its tradition of scouting raw talent from diverse Indian locales. This season’s “Apna Homeground” theme will let participants bring the soundscape of their hometowns to the stage, celebrating regional dialects and street narratives. Alongside Badshah, seasoned rappers EPR, MC Square, Paradox and AGSX will judge the performances, each bringing a distinct perspective on lyrical skill and stage presence.
