Janmashtami Reflections: Mugdha Godse Blends Celebrity Life with Devotion

Mugdha Vera Godse, known for her roles in fashion-themed movies, used the Janmashtami celebration to discuss her spiritual path. Speaking from Mumbai, she said her guru’s direction enables her to explore Lord Krishna’s leelas and draw lessons for her own life.

Mugdha insisted that the worlds of glamour and spirituality are not contradictory. "I chant Krishna’s names and take part in the ‘Krishna Vandana: 108 Names and Divine Qualities’ campaign, which I consider a blessing from the deity," she said.

The actress highlighted how Janmashtami gives her a platform to perform devotional music, a moment she eagerly awaits each year. Reflecting on her progress, she attributes her rise to the combined support of her spiritual guide and Krishna’s grace.

She concluded by wishing a happy Janmashtami to all, describing the festival as a time to honor Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, whose stories are chronicled in ancient scriptures such as the Mahabharata and Bhagavata Purana.
