Netflix is gearing up to release ‘Aap Jaisa Koi,’ an intergenerational love story starring R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, streaming from July 11. The romantic drama will see Madhavan play a reserved Sanskrit teacher and Shaikh a free-spirited French instructor whose paths cross in an unexpected manner.

The film is directed by Vivek Soni, known for ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar.’ According to Soni, ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ is about breaking down personal barriers and embracing the vulnerability of love. He expressed his excitement about presenting a love story that is tender, intimate, and charming. The story questions the roles people adopt in relationships and reflects the courage needed to let someone in.
The movie is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment.
