Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur used the sacred occasion of Shravan Shivratri to visit the Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, perched on the rocks of the Arabian Sea in the coastal village of Fudam, Maharashtra. Sharing the experience on Instagram, she posted images that capture her in traditional dress, performing a darshan of the five Shiva lingams that receive the sea’s tide as a natural abhishek.

In her caption, Kaur appealed for the deity’s protection, writing, “May the heavenly blessings of Mahadev dissolve every difficulty and empower us from within. Warm wishes for Shravan Shivratri to all. Har Har Mahadev.”

The temple is steeped in mythological significance; it is believed the Pandavas, during their hidden exile, installed the five lingams, each tailored to the size of a brother – the largest symbolising Bhima. The convergence of oceanic rhythm and ancient worship creates a unique pilgrimage experience.

The actress’s spiritual stop coincides with the promotional buildup for "Section 84," a courtroom‑drama thriller directed by Rivu Dasgupta. Sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, she portrays Joaya alongside co‑stars Diana Penty and Abhishek Banerjee. Production wrapped earlier this year, and the film is slated for a November 2026 opening under the Jio Studios and Reliance Entertainment banners.
