Actress Wamiqa Gabbi turned nostalgia into a public spectacle when she celebrated the first anniversary of Bhool Chuk Maaf by traveling across Mumbai in an embellished e-rickshaw. Dressed in bridal attire, she waved at onlookers and recreated a key visual from the film, turning an ordinary street ride into a moving tribute. The short clip posted on Instagram captured her joy as she thanked fans for their overwhelming love and asked for forgiveness for any mistakes, echoing the movie’s title. The post quickly went viral, prompting fans to revisit the fantasy romance that released last May. Helmed by debutant director Karan Sharma, the film was backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios. Rajkummar Rao portrayed Ranjan, a young man stuck in a time loop after missing a divine promise, while Wamiqa played his spirited fiancée Titli. The ensemble cast also included Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, and Vinay Pathak in memorable supporting roles. Although the film received mixed critical feedback, audiences appreciated its inventive storytelling and strong performances. Technical aspects such as Sudeep Chatterjee’s cinematography and Manish Pradhan’s editing were praised for maintaining the delicate balance between reality and fantasy. Looking ahead, Wamiqa will next be seen in Kuckoo Ki Kundali alongside Bhuvan Bam. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the project is expected to showcase yet another facet of her versatile acting range.
