Shahzad Poonawala challenges Swara Bhaskar’s remarks on Ayodhya verdict

In a candid conversation with IANS, Shahzad Poonawala addressed actress Swara Bhaskar’s recent comments concerning the Ayodhya Supreme Court ruling. He urged Bhaskar to stop equating Hindu sentiment with anti‑nation behaviour.

Poonawala reminded her that the court’s decision was the culmination of a decades‑long dispute and that questioning it disrespects the collective patience of the Hindu community. He emphasized that the verdict should be accepted as the law of the land.

The former BJP mouthpiece also mentioned Bhaskar’s earlier podcast where she expressed personal regret over the judgment and reached out to Muslim friends for support. Poonawala criticized that narrative as contrary to national unity.
