How a Promise Sealed Parul Gulati’s Faith in Munawwar Farooqi on Reality Show

Actress Parul Gulati, while promoting her latest film, has also been in the spotlight for her role on The Traitors 2, a reality series that tests alliances and betrayals. The show demands contestants to trust each other blindly, a condition that Gulati finds “inherently risky.”

She noted that Munawwar Farooqi stood out because of the “genuine honesty” she perceived in his demeanor. Over the course of the competition, she began to view him not just as a player but as a guiding elder figure.

Gulati recalled a specific instance when she doubted a contestant’s loyalty. She requested Munawwar to reveal the name of the person she suspected. Munawwar replied, “If you want me to say the name, I will.” During the Circle of Suspicion round, he named exactly the individual Gulati had questioned, thereby fulfilling his earlier assurance.
