The upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, is generating significant buzz. While the two actors are collaborating for this project, they are also involved in other major ventures. Kapoor has two big films slated for release next year, starting with ‘Love and War’ followed by ‘Ramayana Part 1.’ News circulated about the possibility of a poster or teaser release on Kapoor’s birthday. Simultaneously, preparations for a crucial sequence have commenced in Madhya Pradesh.
Reports indicate that the next schedule of the film will be shot in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, formerly known as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. This location was established by John Malcolm in 1818 as a British cantonment.
‘Love and War’ is set to undergo a 15-day shooting schedule in Mhow, using the historic British Army cantonment as a backdrop. The filming will require the presence of both Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, as they have scenes together. The team is currently awaiting necessary permissions.
Following the Madhya Pradesh shoot, the team will move to Europe, particularly Italy, in October. The filmmakers aim to complete the filming before the end of 2025. The film ‘Love and War’ is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, coinciding with the release of Yash’s ‘Toxic.’ Early reports suggested that either Ranbir or Vicky would portray a character in the British Army, with scenes featuring them in conflict already filmed.
