Ranbir Kapoor, considered a prominent figure in Bollywood, is currently working on several large projects. Following the success of ‘Animal,’ he’s engaged with Part 1 of the 4000 crore ‘Ramayana,’ having already completed the shooting. He is also occupied with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War.’ However, news has emerged that one of his upcoming films has been delayed, a project involving a director known for 700 crore films. This has led to speculation about Aamir Khan’s involvement. Aamir Khan made a comeback this year with ‘Sitare Zameen Par,’ which received a positive response. Reports suggest he’s actively reading scripts for his next film. The actor had previously planned a project with Ranbir Kapoor, but now the focus has shifted. The director in question is Rajkumar Hirani, who has collaborated with Aamir Khan in the past. The film that has been postponed is the one Ranbir Kapoor was set to do with Hirani. They previously worked together on ‘Sanju,’ in which Ranbir played the lead role. According to new reports, a biopic on a sportsperson was in the works but has now been pushed to 2027, meaning fans will have to wait for the Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani film. Both were reportedly excited about the project. They spent a year developing the project’s idea. However, given the high expectations after ‘Sanju,’ Rajkumar Hirani decided to postpone it. Ranbir Kapoor’s busy schedule also played a role in the decision, with plans to revisit the film later. There’s a desire for the project to match the success of ‘Sanju,’ leading to the delay. Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘PK’ earned over 700 crores. The director is now discussing a film with Aamir Khan. They are working together on Dadasaheb Phalke, scheduled to begin next year. Workshops are planned for December, with shooting expected to start in January 2026, after which Ranbir’s film will be considered.
