A special ‘My Stamp’ has been launched to commemorate the heroic Battle of Rezang La, celebrating the immense bravery of the 13th Battalion, Kumaon Regiment. The upcoming war film ‘120 Bahadur,’ which depicts this legendary conflict, was central to the initiative. Actor Farhan Akhtar, a key figure in the movie, shared the momentous occasion on social media, expressing profound gratitude for the Indian Postal Service’s commemorative stamp. He highlighted the importance of honoring the sacrifices of martyred soldiers, thanking the Defence Minister for his presence at the inauguration. The stamp, unveiled in New Delhi, serves as a powerful tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives. This initiative precedes the 63rd anniversary of the historic battle, ensuring their valor is remembered for generations. ‘120 Bahadur’ brings to life the story of courage led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, played by Farhan Akhtar, in a pivotal moment of Indian military history. The film is set to release on November 21, 2025.
