Beyond the social media buzz, Salman Khan is set to appear in the patriotic action drama “Matrubhumi: Me War Rest In Peace,” previously titled “Battle of Galwan.” Produced by Salman himself under his banner and directed by Apuur Lakhiya, the film portrays a fictionalized account of the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. Salman will play a soldier, while actress Chitrangda Singh shares a key role. The movie is slated for a theatrical release later this year, though an exact date has not yet been announced.
