Shah Rukh Khan, riding high on the success of his 2023 hits, has provided an update on his upcoming film, ‘King’. During an ‘Ask SRK’ session on X, the actor shared that filming is set to resume soon. He mentioned having completed some initial shooting and will be focusing on leg shots before moving on to upper body scenes. The actor expressed hope that the film would be completed quickly, highlighting director Siddharth Anand’s hard work. The film, which reportedly faced delays due to an injury sustained by Khan during shooting, is now speculated to release in 2027 instead of 2026. The film is an action-heavy project, so the team is proceeding cautiously with Khan’s health in mind. ‘King’ is expected to feature a star-studded cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
