Shefali Jariwala, the actress and model renowned for her role in Bigg Boss 13 in 2019, has died in Mumbai at the age of 42. Celebrated as the ‘Kaanta Laga Girl,’ she reportedly succumbed to a cardiac arrest late on June 27. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, along with three others. Preliminary reports indicate that Jariwala was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, despite immediate medical intervention. The hospital reception staff confirmed her passing, stating that she had died before being brought in. The news of her untimely death has deeply impacted Bollywood and left many in a state of shock. Jariwala gained fame in the early 2000s with her memorable performance in the iconic remix video for ‘Kaanta Laga.’ This catapulted her to household recognition, and she remains fondly remembered by this moniker. Subsequent appearances included Salman Khan’s ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi,’ and she was also a participant in several TV and reality shows, such as Nach Baliye (Seasons 5 & 7).
