Shibani Akhtar Gets Dolphin Tattoo Like Farhan’s, Fans Debate Its Charm

Shibani Akhtar’s latest Instagram story has the online community buzzing. The actress posted a clip of herself receiving a dolphin tattoo that mirrors the one her husband, Farhan Akhtar, inked on his shoulder around 20 years ago.

In the short video, Shibani watches the needle work while Farhan, visible in the frame, gently strokes his own tattoo and sends a loving glance her way.

She wrote, "Will this be considered a matching tattoo even though the original was done before we met? Cute or creepy?" The playful prompt generated a flood of comments.

Industry friends Dia Mirza, Saba Azad and Amrita Arora each responded with a red heart emoji, calling the move cute. Saba Patodi, sister of actor Saif Ali Khan, left a simple "Very sweet… mashallah" comment.

Earlier in August, Farhan had posted a heartfelt birthday note to Shibani, referring to her as his "sunshine" and wishing her love. Shibani reciprocated on Farhan’s birthday in January, describing him as her "best friend" and "happy place," and describing their life together as a beautiful adventure.

The couple exchanged vows on February 19, 2022, in an intimate ceremony attended only by close relatives and friends.
