Bollywood star Shilpa Shirodkar, known for her work in the 1990s and also as Mahesh Babu’s sister-in-law, is set to return to the big screen in the Telugu-Hindi supernatural thriller ‘Jatadhara,’ produced by Prerna Arora, later this year. Shirodkar was last seen in M F Hussain’s ‘Gaja Gamini’ in 2000. Her role as Shobha is expected to be a highlight of the film, with the first look poster showcasing the actress’s character in a role exploring themes of greed and tantra.
Shirodkar expressed her excitement about being part of ‘Jatadhara,’ describing it as a supernatural and mysterious journey for the audience, with stunning visuals and an impactful storyline. She praised Prerna Arora’s dedication and attention to detail, highlighting her passion for storytelling. Shirodkar described her character Shobha as powerful, complex, and intriguing, stating she has poured her heart and soul into the role.
