Speculation surrounding the highly anticipated wedding of Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music director Palash Muchhal has intensified, with recent rumors pointing to a December 7th ceremony. However, these claims have been officially denied. The wedding, initially planned for November 23rd, was postponed due to the sudden illness of Smriti Mandhana’s father, Srinivas, who was hospitalized in Sangli. Music director Palash Muchhal also required a brief period of hospitalization. While both have since been discharged, no new wedding date has been confirmed by either family. Adding to the online buzz, fans noticed that Mandhana had removed most wedding-related posts from her Instagram account. Her brother, Shravan Mandhana, clarified that no concrete plans have been made yet. “As of now, it (the wedding) is still postponed,” he stated, dismissing the circulating rumors. Palash Muchhal’s mother, Amita, shared her hope for a swift resolution, acknowledging the emotional strain on both families. She expressed her belief that the wedding will happen very soon, highlighting the disappointment of not being able to welcome Smriti as Palash’s bride as planned. The situation has garnered support from various sectors, with actor Suniel Shetty commending cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues for her solidarity with Mandhana during this challenging time.
