Building on this trend, the ‘Kanchana’ franchise is set to release its fifth installment, tentatively titled ‘Kanchana 4’. Reports suggest that Rashmika Mandanna, known for her role in ‘Pushpa 2’, may join the cast.
Rashmika Mandanna is reportedly being considered for a significant role in the film. Director Raghava Lawrence wants Rashmika to play a witch. However, no official information has been released yet. If this happens, it will be Rashmika Mandanna’s first horror-comedy film.
‘Kanchana 4’ will also feature Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi. Raghava Lawrence will play the lead role and also direct the film. The first part of this series, titled ‘Muni’, was released in 2007, followed by ‘Kanchana’ in 2011, ‘Kanchana 2’ in 2015, and ‘Kanchana 3’ in 2019. The makers have not yet announced the official release date.
