Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘King’ has generated significant buzz, especially after his salt-and-pepper look was revealed on his birthday. While the new avatar has been widely praised by fans, a section of social media users has drawn comparisons between one of Khan’s outfits in the ‘King’ promo and a look sported by Brad Pitt in his upcoming film ‘F1’. This led to accusations of copying. However, dedicated fans of Shah Rukh Khan were quick to refute these claims. They presented evidence, showcasing stills from Khan’s 2017 film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, where he sported a strikingly similar ensemble. This defense effectively shut down the ‘copycat’ narrative, highlighting that the Bollywood icon had adopted a comparable style years before the F1 comparison emerged. The ‘King’ promo itself features SRK in a suave, silver-haired look, complete with signature accessories and an intense persona, reminiscent of his character Vikram Rathod from ‘Jawan’. The film, touted as a high-octane action entertainer, is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Suhana Khan. ‘King’ is anticipated to hit theatres in 2026.
