Despite the desire of many to work with him, Malayalam actress Swasika revealed that she declined an offer to play Ram Charan’s mother in the upcoming film ‘Peddi.’ In an interview, Swasika explained her decision, stating she was offered the role of Ram Charan’s mother, which led her to reject the offer. Swasika acknowledged having played older women in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, often in motherly roles. However, she was uncomfortable playing the mother of an actor seven years her senior. Swasika is 33 years old, while Ram Charan is 40. She stated that while she receives motherly role offers, the offer to play Ram Charan’s mother surprised her, leading to her refusal. She also mentioned she might consider similar offers in the future but is not ready for such roles in her current career phase.
