The Indian box office is buzzing with activity as new releases vie for audience attention. Aanand L Rai’s highly anticipated film, ‘Tere Ishk Mein,’ starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has achieved a significant box office triumph, crossing the ₹50 crore mark within its opening three days. This intense romantic drama has resonated strongly with viewers, leading to impressive weekend collections.
Meanwhile, other films are experiencing more moderate success. ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ and ‘120 Bahadur’ are reporting average box office performance, failing to capture the widespread audience that ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ has attracted. ‘De De Pyaar De 2,’ a romantic drama featuring Ajay Devgn, is continuing its theatrical run and saw a slight uptick in collections on its seventeenth day, bringing its total to over ₹71 crore.
‘Tere Ishk Mein’ specifically garnered ₹18 crore on Sunday, contributing to its substantial ₹51.75 crore total gross. In contrast, ‘Gustaakh Ishq,’ despite its star-studded cast, collected only ₹0.21 crore on Sunday, reaching a cumulative of ₹1.16 crore. ‘120 Bahadur’ also saw modest earnings of ₹0.79 crore on its second Sunday, with a total of ₹16.94 crore to date. The box office landscape remains dynamic, with ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ clearly leading the pack this week.
