The Indian film industry, both in the South and Bollywood, has been enriched by the contributions of numerous actors. While many superstars are no longer with us, their cinematic achievements have left an enduring legacy. This article highlights an actor who starred in an astounding 900 films. Neither Amitabh Bachchan, nor Dharmendra, nor even Mithun Chakraborty hold this record. Even Shakti Kapoor, with his 700 films, falls short of this actor’s prolific career. This actor made his acting debut in 1952 with Marumakal and sadly passed away at the age of 62. This actor was Prem Nazir, a Malayalam actor, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Indian cinema. He received the Kerala State Film Award and the Padma Bhushan for his contributions.
