The reality show ‘The Traitors,’ hosted by Karan Johar, is captivating audiences with its suspense and unexpected turns. Recent episodes, released on Prime Video on June 19, featured a shocking development: the elimination of four contestants, all of whom were later revealed to be innocent. The eliminations created significant upheaval within the game.
The first shocking moment came with Mukesh Chhabra’s absence at breakfast, with host Karan Johar revealing he was ‘murdered’ by traitors Purab Jha and Elnaaz Norouzi. Facing a difficult choice between Mukesh and Ashish Vidyarthi, they chose to eliminate the veteran actor.
During the subsequent roundtable discussion, the remaining contestants struggled to identify the traitors, debating between Raftaar and Maheep Kapoor. Raftaar’s argumentative behavior made him a suspect, but a faction of contestants was determined to eliminate Maheep. Ultimately, Maheep Kapoor was voted out.
Ashish Vidyarthi then became the focus of suspicion, despite discussions involving Apoorva Mukhija, Sufi Motiwala, and Raftaar. Ashish received the most votes and was subsequently eliminated.
In the following roundtable, Raftaar was the primary target, with many contestants believing he was a traitor, unlike Apoorva Mukhija or Sufi Motiwala. After deliberation, Raftaar was eliminated.
It was revealed that Mukesh Chhabra, Maheep Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Raftaar were all innocent. The actual traitors, Purab Jha and Elnaaz Norouzi, have successfully maintained their deceptive roles since the series began.
Previous innocent eliminations included Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, and Karan Kundrra. Furthermore, Raj Kundra, one of the traitors, was previously caught and eliminated.
The remaining contestants include Anshula Kapoor, Elnaaz Norouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvee Gaurr, Apoorva Mukhija, Jasmine Bhasin, Nikita Luther, Purab Jha, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Sufi Motiwala.
