Thousands of Students Hold Indefinite Sit‑In at Ranchi Stadium

Under the leadership of student activist Devendra Nath Mahto, more than a few thousand learners gathered at Ranchi's Jaypal Singh Munda Stadium last week. The group has vowed to remain on a continuous dharna until the state government implements concrete measures to curb exam fraud.

Participants have organized cultural programs, discussion forums, and a candle‑light vigil to keep the momentum alive. They demand that the Central Bureau of Investigation publish its findings and that the educational department overhaul the examination framework.

State officials, including the chief minister, have acknowledged the students' grievances, promising that no injustice will be allowed to persist while investigations continue.
