The highly anticipated film ‘Tiger vs. Pathaan,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, is reportedly undergoing a creative restructuring rather than being completely abandoned. Initial hints suggested the project was postponed, but sources indicate Yash Raj Films (YRF) is reevaluating the film’s direction to avoid repetition within its spy universe.
Aditya Chopra, the head of YRF, is reportedly rethinking the studio’s approach to its spy films. The goal is to infuse fresh storytelling techniques to prevent formula fatigue. While no official confirmation has been released, the studio aims to revamp the creative path for upcoming projects such as ‘Tiger vs. Pathaan.’
The YRF Spy Universe includes films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), ‘War’ (2019), and ‘Pathaan’ (2023). The universe continues to expand with movies like ‘Tiger 3,’ ‘War 2,’ and the upcoming ‘Alpha,’ featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.
In the meantime, Salman Khan’s recent appearance was in ‘Sikandar,’ while Shah Rukh Khan is slated to appear in ‘King.’
