Actress Trisha Krishnan has humorously addressed and dismissed widespread rumors about an impending wedding to a businessman from Chandigarh. The popular star took to her Instagram stories to share a witty remark, stating, ‘I love when people plan my life for me. Just waiting for them to schedule the honeymoon too.’ This lighthearted response directly counters recent media reports that claimed an alliance was being formed with a Chandigarh-based businessman, even suggesting that families were well-acquainted. This is not the first instance of unsubstantiated personal life speculation surrounding the actress, who has a significant following in the Tamil and Telugu film industries.
Adding to recent anxieties, Trisha’s residence in Teynampet was recently the subject of a bomb threat. Police conducted a thorough search, involving sniffer dogs, which ultimately confirmed the threat to be a hoax. Despite these distractions, Trisha remains focused on her burgeoning career. She is set to star opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi in Vassishta’s socio-fantasy film ‘Vishwambhara,’ slated for a Summer 2026 release. The film is described as a blend of mythology and emotion, promising a grand cinematic spectacle. Additionally, Trisha will play the female lead in R J Balaji’s ‘Karuppu,’ an action entertainer where she stars alongside Suriya, who portrays a lawyer named Saravanan. ‘Karuppu’ also features a strong supporting cast including Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Yogi Babu, and Natty, with music by Sai Abhyankkar and cinematography by GK Vishnu.
