Partho Ghosh, a celebrated filmmaker, passed away on Monday morning at the age of 75. He succumbed to heart-related complications. Ghosh was renowned for directing successful films such as ‘100 Days’, ‘Teesra Kaun’, and ‘Agni Sakshi’, among others. His career began as an assistant director, and he gained recognition with his 1991 film ‘100 Days’. He subsequently directed ‘Dalaal’ in 1993, which also achieved significant success. Ghosh had written and directed over 15 films throughout his career. His last directorial venture was ‘Mausam Ikrar Ke Do Pal Pyar Ke’ in 2018. He is survived by his wife, Gouri.
